Federalism is not a concept that is unique to the United States.  Over 40% of the world's population lives in one of 30 federalist countries.  These include the United States, India, Canada, Brazil, Nigeria, among many others.   Not only are there several federalism organizations worldwide, but there also exists a fascinating array of legislative committees within each country, working on a variety of topics related to federalism and intergovernmental relations.
